Caught this photo with my phone at McDamage tonight. The sign is too bright for my little phone snapper but you can definitely see that someone misinterpreted “Drive Thru.”
Did a show at The Coppertank yesterday, you can’t really see me but I’m there right near the drums. The crowd was good for a bit but this isn’t really bonedonor’s type of audience. Come check us out at Falconettis on Commercial Drive, it’s great little place with an exuberant clientelle.
We helped Nintendo move their server room from their old place in Richmond to their new offices in East Vancouver. It was a long, crappy day but in the end most things worked out OK.
The pic above is of me just after we got the racks in. Still many hours of installing servers into said racks and getting the networking properly set up. Actually, that was impossible since everyone’s computer connects to the network via their VoIP phone. The Cisco consultants convinced Nintendo it would be a good idea to run the computer network over the VoIP network. This is actually a very bad idea, and after having dealt with their lead technician I can say that whatever they got paid it was too much.
